This sling is designed for users who have some weight bearing capability, but cannot stand independently. They should be coherent and posses good body and full head control, and be able to grip the lifting boom. This sling is for use with the Invacare Reliant 350 Stand Assist, and may be compatible with other stand assist products that operate with fabric loop slings. Please check with your manufacturer prior to purchase.
Ideal for seated to seated transfers, the Stand Assist Sling is very easy to fit. The Polyester fabric to the rear section has been strengthened and the sling is well padded for comfort and has non-slip material on the rear. Various size choices are available.

If the user will spend long periods in the sling then a risk assessment for skin integrity should be carried out to ensure the correct fabric and sling are selected. If you are unsure about which sling to select please consult your medical practitioner.
All of our major products are available with an "Accompanied Delivery". This means that your new mobility product will be delivered to your door and assembled. The delivery person will go through the operations of the mobility product and show you how to use it, store it and even to charge it when required. Our staff will ensure that you are entirely comfortable with your mobility product before they leave and they will even take the packaging away with them! (This service is only available to Mainland UK addresses)
If you are happy with your choice of mobility product and don't feel that you need someone to go through it all with you, you can opt for a "standard delivery". With the standard delivery option, included in the price you will still have the mobility product delivered to your door but it will be sent by one of our professional carriers. You will need to be able to un-box the product yourself and dispose of the packaging. Don't forget, we are always available on the telephone to help if you get stuck!
