The Freerider Mayfair Evolution mobility scooter has been one of the best selling and reliable 4 mph pavement mobility scooters on the market for some years now. Freerider have now introduced a new version, the Evolution, taking this already successful model to a new level of specification and practicality, whilst adding to its style along the way.
There is a new, supportive Captain seat that adds extra comfort and sporty looks. Rugged, hard wearing floor mats and and bumpers have beed added along with an all new "halo" front light system to ensure you can see and be seen. Importantly, from a comfort perspective, there is also the addition of all round suspension, a rare feature on a class 2 pavement mobility scooter that should easily cope with drop kerbs and uneven pavements.
The controls are very easy to use, and the tiller is multi positional to allow infinite adjustment and now utilises a rounded delta style tiller that adds comfort to the hands on longer journeys. The supportive Captain's seat is fully adjustable, having a swivel action, arms that fold up and the ability to slide it forwards or backwards and alter the height as well. This, combined with the large 10" pneumatic tyres front and rear offer a very comfortable ride on your Freerider mobility scooter.
The Freerider Mayfair Evolution mobility scooter has a good sized shopping basket on the front, and is available in two distinctive colours, red and blue. With a range of up to 20 miles, and a maximum user weight of just over 21 stone, the Freerider Mayfair Evolution mobility scooter is a very capable machine. If you need to travel further afield, then there is the option of upgrading to the heavy duty 50 a/h batteries to increase the maximum range.

Additions, Insurance and Warranty:
Accompanied Delivery
All of our major products are available with an "Accompanied Delivery". This means that your new mobility product will be delivered to your door and assembled, or be assembled and checked here prior to delivery. The delivery person will go through the operations of the mobility product and show you how to use it, store it and even to charge it when required. Our staff will ensure that you are entirely comfortable with your mobility product before they leave and all of the packaging will be disposed of for you. The cost for this service is £95.00 and it can be selected in the checkout when placing your order (This service is only available to Mainland UK addresses))
Standard Delivery from Mobility Scooters Plus
If you are happy with your choice of mobility product and don't feel that you need someone to go through it all with you, you can opt for a "standard delivery". With the standard delivery option, included in the price you will still have the mobility product delivered to your door but it will be sent by one of our professional carriers. You will need to be able to un-box the product yourself and dispose of the packaging. Please remember there may be some self assembly involved. The majority of our power products arrive on a pallet, so you will have to dispose of that as well. Don't forget, we are always available on the telephone to help if you get stuck!
Returns policy
We very much hope that you will love your new mobility product and get many years of pleasure and service from it. However, if for any reason you wish to return your product to us you can do so within fourteen days of receipt of delivery, as per the distance selling regulations. The product should be in "as new" condition and in its original packaging. The customer is responsible for the return carriage costs (unless the item is being returned due to a fault) Collection can be arranged if required, just contact us on 01572 720699.
All of our new power products are UK supplied and come with a complete warranty in the same way that you would receive a warranty if you bought a product from a traditional retail shop.
All of our new power products have at least a 1-year parts warranty and some of our larger items have even longer (please call for further details). In addition to this, we include a free 1-year home call out promise. This means that if you experience any technical problems, which cannot be solved by other methods, we will send an engineer to your home, free of charge, to fix the problem.
After this 1-year period, we will still make an engineer available to you should you need one but the cost will be borne by the customer.
Please note that all "Pre-owned" power products come with 3 months parts and labour warranty, and home engineer call out.
