The 8 mph Envoy 8+ mobility scooter is an excellent addition to the Drive Devilbiss range of scooters. This replaces the previous model, the standard Envoy 8 and also the successful Neo 8. It includes a whole host of excellent features that are often only found as standard on larger more expensive models, and some new "+" features as well.
An enjoyable ride is assured with an all round suspension system fitted as standard to smooth out the bumps. This, along with the well upholstered, adjustable Sport Rider Captains seat should ensure a comfortable journey. Large pneumatic tyres have also been fitted to 5" sports style alloy rims.
The tiller is adjustable to suit the users preferred position, and comes with a "delta" steering control. This is more comfortable for longer journeys, and makes controlling the scooter easier for those who have weakness in the hands or issues with grip. It also incorporates a clear LCD display usually only seen on the Cobra mobility scooter to give you all the information you require. There is also a sturdy front basket as standard.
From a safety perspective the Drive Devilbiss Envoy 8+ comes with a full light system front and rear, including a powerful LED front light and indicators. There is also a rear view mirror and a separate cable brake for added safety and peace of mind.
Although the Envoy 8+ may have compact dimensions, there is no compromise regarding the performance of this mobility scooter. With a top speed of 8 mph, and a weight capacity of up to 25 stone, it is on a par with many larger models. All of our major products are available with an "Accompanied Delivery". This means that your new mobility product will be delivered to your door and assembled, or be assembled and checked here prior to delivery. The delivery person will go through the operations of the mobility product and show you how to use it, store it and even to charge it when required. Our staff will ensure that you are entirely comfortable with your mobility product before they leave and all of the packaging will be disposed of for you. Standard Delivery from Mobility Scooters Plus
If you are happy with your choice of mobility product and don't feel that you need someone to go through it all with you, you can opt for a "standard delivery". With the standard delivery option, included in the price you will still have the mobility product delivered to your door but it will be sent by one of our professional carriers. You will need to be able to un-box the product yourself and dispose of the packaging. Please remember there may be some self assembly involved. The majority of our power products arrive on a pallet, so you will have to dispose of that as well. Don't forget, we are always available on the telephone to help if you get stuck!
We very much hope that you will love your new mobility product and get many years of pleasure and service from it. However, if for any reason you wish to return your product to us you can do so within fourteen days of receipt of delivery, as per the distance selling regulations. The product should be in "as new" condition and in its original packaging. All of our new power products have at least a 1-year parts warranty and some of our larger items have even longer (please call for further details). In addition to this, we include a free 1-year home call out promise. This means that if you experience any technical problems, which cannot be solved by other methods, we will send an engineer to your home, free of charge, to fix the problem.
After this 1-year period, we will still make an engineer available to you should you need one but the cost will be borne by the customer.
