The AZTEC all terrain mobility scooter is one of the best examples of a scooter capable of travelling off road you can find. And it is hand made here in Britain!! This fantastic vehicle is the second scooter in the range offered by Horizon Mobility.
The construction and design has to seen to be believed. A tough tubular steel frame is powder coated to enhance it's appearance and improve it's lifespan. There are three choices of tyre and wheels available depending on your intended use for the AZTEC. There are standard road wheels and tyres that will cope with light off road use, or dedicated off road wheels and tyres designed to cope with rugged terrain. Finally, for the golf enthusiast they have introduced Turf Saver tyres. Designed for use on grass, they reduce and minimise the damage to the turf and are approved for this type of use.
The AZTEC is one of the most capable mobility scooters available on the market today. The powerful 1400 watt motor and 70 a/h batteries will take you up to 22 miles between charges. This can be further extended by upgrading to larger 100 a/h batteries, increasing the maximum range to 28 miles.
A huge range of options are available to enhance your enjoyment of the AZTEC. There is a lockable storage box that can be mounted to the rear to safely stow shopping or other personal effects. An optional windscreen can be fitted to keep the wind and bugs out of your face. Further protection from the elements can be gained by fitting an all weather cab with a hard windscreen.
If you plan to make the most of the AZTECs off road capability then you can add a Mode 3 power upgrade. This will increase the maximum speed up to 12 mph, and should only be used on private land or forest tracks etc to comply with the law. Whichever tyre selection you choose, all types can be professionally puncture proofed at the factory prior to delivery.
We have focused on the great off road capabilities of the AZTEC, but it should not be forgotten that this superb scooter is also at home on a trip to the shops or the park. The suspension system fitted as standard brings a great level of comfort to the user. However, this can be further enhanced by fitting a full suspension seat, or if required, a reclining orthopaedic seat to offer you even greater comfort and support.

All of our major products are available with an "Accompanied Delivery". This means that your new mobility product will be delivered to your door and assembled. The delivery person will go through the operations of the mobility product and show you how to use it, store it and even to charge it when required. Our staff will ensure that you are entirely comfortable with your mobility product before they leave and they will even take the packaging away with them! The cost for this service is £95.00 (This service is only available to Mainland UK addresses)
If you are happy with your choice of mobility product and don't feel that you need someone to go through it all with you, you can opt for a "standard delivery". With the standard delivery option, included in the price you will still have the mobility product delivered to your door but it will be sent by one of our professional carriers. You will need to be able to un-box the product yourself and dispose of the packaging. Don't forget, we are always available on the telephone to help if you get stuck!
