The Freerider FR1 mobility scooter stands out as a sporty model in the world of bariatric mobility scooters, from the recognised name of Freerider.
With its radical styling and modern looks it is sure to turn heads wherever you go. With a Freerider mobility scooter, comfort is taken very seriously, with a supportive fully adjustable Captain seat as standard. There are also large 13" pneumatic tyres with sporty alloy wheels, and a complete all round suspension system.
The tiller adjusts for height as well as reach, and has a "car steering" direct feel. Two large storage baskets attach either side of the tiller, both of which can be removed when not required. There is also a USB charging point, allowing you to charge your mobile phone, MP3 player or other device whilst you are on the move in your Freerider FR1 mobility scooter.
This Freerider mobility scooter features stylish lights front and back, including indicators, to ensure you can see and be seen. There is also an automatic brake light. The large wheels on the Freerider FR1 give you enhanced off road capabilities with nearly 6" of ground clearance, backed up by a powerful motor. The 75 a/h batteries mean a rider of over 28 stone can ride up to a staggering 40 miles maximum between charges, dependant on the terrain covered.
Available in three striking colours, Dark Metallic Grey, Crimson Red and Pearl White, the Freerider FR1 mobility scooter is both powerful and comfortable and a welcome addition to our range of scooters.

Additions, Insurance and Warranty:
Accompanied Delivery
All of our major products are available with an "Accompanied Delivery". This means that your new mobility product will be delivered to your door and assembled, or be assembled and checked here prior to delivery. The delivery person will go through the operations of the mobility product and show you how to use it, store it and even to charge it when required. Our staff will ensure that you are entirely comfortable with your mobility product before they leave and all of the packaging will be disposed of for you. The cost for this service is £95.00 and it can be selected in the checkout when placing your order (This service is only available to Mainland UK addresses))
Standard Delivery from Mobility Scooters Plus
If you are happy with your choice of mobility product and don't feel that you need someone to go through it all with you, you can opt for a "standard delivery". With the standard delivery option, included in the price you will still have the mobility product delivered to your door but it will be sent by one of our professional carriers. You will need to be able to un-box the product yourself and dispose of the packaging. Please remember there may be some self assembly involved. The majority of our power products arrive on a pallet, so you will have to dispose of that as well. Don't forget, we are always available on the telephone to help if you get stuck!
Returns policy
We very much hope that you will love your new mobility product and get many years of pleasure and service from it. However, if for any reason you wish to return your product to us you can do so within fourteen days of receipt of delivery, as per the distance selling regulations. The product should be in "as new" condition and in its original packaging. The customer is responsible for the return carriage costs (unless the item is being returned due to a fault) Collection can be arranged if required, just contact us on 01572 720699.
All of our new power products are UK supplied and come with a complete warranty in the same way that you would receive a warranty if you bought a product from a traditional retail shop.
All of our new power products have at least a 1-year parts warranty and some of our larger items have even longer (please call for further details). In addition to this, we include a free 1-year home call out promise. This means that if you experience any technical problems, which cannot be solved by other methods, we will send an engineer to your home, free of charge, to fix the problem.
After this 1-year period, we will still make an engineer available to you should you need one but the cost will be borne by the customer.
Please note that all "Pre-owned" power products come with 3 months parts and labour warranty, and home engineer call out.
