Here is the all-new, mid-sized offering from the "S" range launched by the recognised name of Sterling, the S425. This compact yet competent mobility scooter is the natural successor to the previously popular Sterling Diamond. Here at Mobility Scooters Plus we are proud to have been involved in the trial and development of this superb range of scooters which we are sure are set to become some of our bestsellers.
The S425 has been built to deliver solid 8 mph scooter performance packed into a more compact package. An all-new 4 wheel suspension system adds a level of comfort to this well designed mobility scooter. This is further complemented by the incredibly supportive and comfortable Captain seat which is fully adjustable.
The large 12" pneumatic tyres, sat atop the stylish alloy wheels give a good level of ground clearance to allow you to negotiate tricky terrain. Larger than average 55 a/h batteries will power you along to a maximum potential range between charges of up to 26 miles. This is also a very robust scooter that will comfortably carry a user up to 23.5 stones in weight.
Other features include an all round lighting package including a very large bright headlight. Your safety is further enhanced by automatic electro-mechanical braking and a manual handbrake for emergencies. For storage purposes there is a useful pouch to the rear of the seat and a large, removable basket on the front of the tiller.
Stylish wheels and colour co-ordinated rear view mirrors add to the smart looking carbon metallic paintwork. The Sterling Diamond was a favourite of ours for many years as one of our best selling 8 mph mobility scooters. The S425 has a lot to live up to and we think it has succeeded. Accompanied Delivery
All of our major products are available with an "Accompanied Delivery". This means that your new mobility product will be delivered to your door and assembled, or be assembled and checked here prior to delivery. The delivery person will go through the operations of the mobility product and show you how to use it, store it and even to charge it when required. Our staff will ensure that you are entirely comfortable with your mobility product before they leave and all of the packaging will be disposed of for you. The cost for this service is £95.00 and it can be selected in the checkout when placing your order (This service is only available to Mainland UK addresses))
Standard Delivery from Mobility Scooters Plus
If you are happy with your choice of mobility product and don't feel that you need someone to go through it all with you, you can opt for a "standard delivery". With the standard delivery option, included in the price you will still have the mobility product delivered to your door but it will be sent by one of our professional carriers. You will need to be able to un-box the product yourself and dispose of the packaging. Please remember there may be some self assembly involved. The majority of our power products arrive on a pallet, so you will have to dispose of that as well. Don't forget, we are always available on the telephone to help if you get stuck!
Returns policy
We very much hope that you will love your new mobility product and get many years of pleasure and service from it. However, if for any reason you wish to return your product to us you can do so within fourteen days of receipt of delivery, as per the distance selling regulations. The product should be in "as new" condition and in its original packaging. The customer is responsible for the return carriage costs (unless the item is being returned due to a fault) Collection can be arranged if required, just contact us on 01572 720699.
All of our new power products are UK supplied and come with a complete warranty in the same way that you would receive a warranty if you bought a product from a traditional retail shop.
All of our new power products have at least a 1-year parts warranty and some of our larger items have even longer (please call for further details). In addition to this, we include a free 1-year home call out promise. This means that if you experience any technical problems, which cannot be solved by other methods, we will send an engineer to your home, free of charge, to fix the problem.
After this 1-year period, we will still make an engineer available to you should you need one but the cost will be borne by the customer.
Please note that all "Pre-owned" power products come with 3 months parts and labour warranty, and home engineer call out.
