Following on from the great success of the original TravelScoot Deluxe, we are pleased to introduce you to the TravelScoot Shopper. This lighter, more compact model is ideal for cruise ships, shopping centres and pedestrian zones and performs best on solid level ground.
The size of the frame has been reduced slightly, as have the wheels and motor. The effect of these reductions is a lightweight, folding mobility scooter that incredibly only weighs 26lbs in total including the battery! If the battery and seat are removed, then the weight comes down to just over 15lbs!
Utilising modern, lithium-ion battery technology and high strength aircraft grade aluminium, the engineers at TravelScoot have created a functional, folding mobility scooter that is, we think, the lightest available on the market today. The specialist, aluminium frame has not only been constructed to minimise the weight, but also to maximise the capacity for the user.
Capable of supporting more than 12 times its own weight, the TravelScoot Shopper can carry a user of up to 22.8 stone a maximum of 13 miles between charges. If you think you will need to travel further between charges, there is the option to upgrade to the heavy duty 420w/h battery which increases the maximum range up to 18 miles. To accelerate there is a simple to use twist grip and there is also a reverse function. For transportation and storage, the TravelScoot Shopper can be folded and comes with its own storage bag to protect it in the hold of an aircraft. There is also an optional spare battery available to extend the range of your scooter. The tyres are puncture proof so you never need to worry about getting a flat and there are independent brakes on each wheel for your safety.

All of our major products are available with an "Accompanied Delivery". This means that your new mobility product will be delivered to your door and assembled. The delivery person will go through the operations of the mobility product and show you how to use it, store it and even to charge it when required. Our staff will ensure that you are entirely comfortable with your mobility product before they leave and they will even take the packaging away with them! The cost for this service is £95.00 (This service is only available to Mainland UK addresses)
If you are happy with your choice of mobility product and don't feel that you need someone to go through it all with you, you can opt for a "standard delivery". With the standard delivery option, included in the price you will still have the mobility product delivered to your door but it will be sent by one of our professional carriers. You will need to be able to un-box the product yourself and dispose of the packaging. Don't forget, we are always available on the telephone to help if you get stuck!
