The Apex Alumalite Plus from the trusted name of Pride Mobility is the transportable mobility scooter the market has been waiting for! Following on from the success of the Apex Lite, the new Apex Alumalite Plus model takes "lightweight" and range to a new level. The total weight of this scooter including the battery is only 74lbs. However, when taken apart the heaviest section weighs in at an incredible 24lbs!

Splitting easily into five sections, the Apex Alumalite Plus is the ideal companion for days out, shopping trips and holidays. The lightweight lithium-ion battery is easily removed to charge away from the scooter and only weighs 8lbs including its case. Capable of carrying a user over 21 stone, this 4 mph model can travel up to 28 miles between charges, if the larger battery pack is selected. (Depending on user weight and terrain)

All of the usual refinements you would expect to find on a quality transportable scooter are here as standard. There is a front basket, automatic regenerative brakes, a comfortable folding seat with a swivel function and stylish 8" alloy wheels. There is also the addition of rear suspension to assure you of a more comfortable ride and a Delta tiller has been added to enhance your comfort. Accompanied Delivery

All of our major products are available with an "Accompanied Delivery". This means that your new mobility product will be delivered to your door and assembled, or be assembled and checked here prior to delivery. The delivery person will go through the operations of the mobility product and show you how to use it, store it and even to charge it when required. Our staff will ensure that you are entirely comfortable with your mobility product before they leave and all of the packaging will be disposed of for you. The cost for this service is £95.00 and it can be selected in the checkout when placing your order (This service is only available to Mainland UK addresses))

Standard Delivery from Mobility Scooters Plus

If you are happy with your choice of mobility product and don't feel that you need someone to go through it all with you, you can opt for a "standard delivery". With the standard delivery option, included in the price you will still have the mobility product delivered to your door but it will be sent by one of our professional carriers. You will need to be able to un-box the product yourself and dispose of the packaging. Please remember there may be some self assembly involved. The majority of our power products arrive on a pallet, so you will have to dispose of that as well. Don't forget, we are always available on the telephone to help if you get stuck!

Returns policy

We very much hope that you will love your new mobility product and get many years of pleasure and service from it. However, if for any reason you wish to return your product to us you can do so within fourteen days of receipt of delivery, as per the distance selling regulations. The product should be in "as new" condition and in its original packaging. The customer is responsible for the return carriage costs (unless the item is being returned due to a fault) Collection can be arranged if required, just contact us on 01572 720699.

All of our new power products are UK supplied and come with a complete warranty in the same way that you would receive a warranty if you bought a product from a traditional retail shop.

All of our new power products have at least a 1-year parts warranty and some of our larger items have even longer (please call for further details). In addition to this, we include a free 1-year home call out promise. This means that if you experience any technical problems, which cannot be solved by other methods, we will send an engineer to your home, free of charge, to fix the problem.

After this 1-year period, we will still make an engineer available to you should you need one but the cost will be borne by the customer.

Please note that all "Pre-owned" power products come with 3 months parts and labour warranty, and home engineer call out.
