At Mobility Scooters Plus we are proud to have been involved in the testing and development of the new "S" range from Sterling. We are also pleased that they have not just focused on the larger 8 mph models but have now launched the all-new S400, a luxurious 4 mph pavement scooter that we are sure will be a hit.


After studying what was currently on offer, Sterling have designed and manufactured what is arguably the most feature packed 4 mph mobility scooter available on the market today. Comfort for the user has been put firmly at the top of the list. Very few scooters in this class offer a high backed Captains seat. For those that do it is normally a chargeable option. However, the S400 comes with a comfortable, supportive Captains seat as standard.

This superb mobility scooter also benefits from an all round suspension system. Rarely seen on a 4 mph mobility scooter, the suspension adds a new level of comfort to your journey that has to be experienced to be believed. You can also adjust the angle of the tiller and the seat back, move the seat forwards or backwards and adjust the armrests to ensure the most comfortable position for you can be achieved.

In-built electro-mechanical braking ensures you come to a firm yet gentle stop, and an all round lighting package ensures you can see and seen on dark or dusky nights. The bulbs used in the lights are the latest in energy saving lighting, consuming 400 times less power than a standard bulb. And less power used on lighting means more power in your batteries to travel further.

The stylish metallic Silver paintwork is complemented by colour co-ordinating Graphite rear view mirrors, another feature not normally standard on a scooter in this class. To sum up, we think that Sterling have achieved everything they set out to in creating a stylish, comfortable 4 mph scooter that is sure to become a best seller. 

All our scooters are supplied with batteries and a charger, free courier delivery to your door and 12 months parts and labour warranty including home engineer call out all for the published price. As this is a Sterling product, the parts warranty is extended to 2 years. We also give you 3 months' FREE insurance and breakdown cover to start your scooter ownership feeling safe and secure.

Accompanied Delivery

All of our major products are available with an "Accompanied Delivery". This means that your new mobility product will be delivered to your door and assembled. The delivery person will go through the operations of the mobility product and show you how to use it, store it and even to charge it when required. Our staff will ensure  that you are entirely comfortable with your mobility product before they leave and they will even take the packaging away with them! The cost for this service is £95.00 (This service is only available to Mainland UK addresses)

Standard Delivery from Mobility Scooters Plus

If you are happy with your choice of mobility product and don't feel that you need someone to go through it all with you, you can opt for a "standard delivery". With the standard delivery option, included in the price you will still have the mobility product delivered to your door but it will be sent by one of our professional carriers. You will need to be able to un-box the product yourself and dispose of the packaging. Don't forget, we are always available on the telephone to help if you get stuck!

Returns policy

We very much hope that you will love your new mobility product and get many years of pleasure and service from it. However, if for any reason you wish to return your product to us you can do so within fourteen days as per the distance selling regulations. The product should be in "as new" condition and in it's original packaging. Making a Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit and debit card payment. If you are shopping from outside of the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and all debit cards.

You can also use your PayPal account to order via the website.

You can order your new product in a variety of ways to suit you:

  1. Fill in the secure on-line form with your credit/debit card details, or purchase using Paypal.
  2. Fill in the contact form with an outline of the product that you would like and we will fill in the form for you.

Payments:

You can pay by credit or debit card, cheque, cash or we can organise a bank transfer for you. We also accept Paypal. Your payment can be made to the delivery person in certain circumstances when our Accompanied Delivery option is selected (please check with us for details). We do not offer payment terms or finance plans.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect you in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
