This is an ex-demonstration model of the Liteway 8 by Electric Mobility. This scooter has a few cosmetic blemishes but is mechanically sound and comes with our usual comprehensive 1 year warranty. The Electric Mobility Rascal Liteway 8 mobility scooter is the largest version of the successful Liteway range of lightweight mobility scooters. This is viewed almost as a revolutionary product, being that it is a truly transportable 8 mph mobility scooter. Multiple battery packs are used so that individually they weigh no more than those on a traditional travel mobility scooter, and the ability to split the frame means the mobility scooter to be easily loaded into most cars.

The Electric Mobility Liteway 8 mobility scooter is made from tubular aluminium. This ensures that it is lightweight, but still retains its strength and stability. A very rare feature for a transportable lightweight mobility scooter is an all-round suspension system. This, coupled with the comfortable padded swivel seat as standard, and pneumatic tyres, will provide you with a very smooth ride.

Taking the Electric Mobility Rascal Liteway 8 mobility scooter apart for transportation could not be an easier task. The frame comes apart, the seat detaches, and the batteries are easily removed due to the innovative "sliding" battery box system in place.

The Electric Mobility Liteway 8 mobility scooter is also very robust in it's own right. Having a huge potential range of up to 24 miles, and a maximum user weight capacity of over 21 stone it far exceeds the performance of virtually every other lightweight transportable mobility scooter, and a number of recognised 8 mph mobility scooters.

Accompanied Delivery

All of our major products are available with an "Accompanied Delivery". This means that your new mobility product will be delivered to your door and assembled. The delivery person will go through the operations of the mobility product and show you how to use it, store it and even to charge it when required. Our staff will ensure  that you are entirely comfortable with your mobility product before they leave and they will even take the packaging away with them! The cost for this service is £95.00 (This service is only available to Mainland UK addresses)

Standard Delivery from Mobility Scooters Plus

If you are happy with your choice of mobility product and don't feel that you need someone to go through it all with you, you can opt for a "standard delivery". With the standard delivery option, included in the price you will still have the mobility product delivered to your door but it will be sent by one of our professional carriers. You will need to be able to un-box the product yourself and dispose of the packaging. The majority of our power products arrive on a pallet, so you will have to dispose of that as well. Don't forget, we are always available on the telephone to help if you get stuck!

Returns policy

We very much hope that you will love your new mobility product and get many years of pleasure and service from it. However, if for any reason you wish to return your product to us you can do so within fourteen days as per the distance selling regulations. Making a Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit and debit card payment. If you are shopping from outside of the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and all debit cards.

You can also use your PayPal account to order via the website.

You can order your new product in a variety of ways to suit you:

  1. Fill in the secure on-line form with your credit/debit card details, or purchase using Paypal.
  2. Fill in the contact form with an outline of the product that you would like and we will fill in the form for you.

You can pay by credit or debit card, cheque, cash or we can organise a bank transfer for you. We also accept Paypal. Your payment can be made to the delivery person in certain circumstances when our Accompanied Delivery option is selected (please check with us for details). We do not offer payment terms or finance plans.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect you in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
