Introducing the new Mobie Plus from Monarch Mobility. Replacing the very successful Mobie, this is a lightweight folding mobility scooter that only weighs an incredible 50 lbs without the battery. This upgraded model now has a lower, more comfortable seat, a great benefit on longer journeys. The tiller head is now larger and more comfortable to use and an ignition and key have now been added for greater security.
Further improvements include a tiller mounted horn for added safety and a variable speed control, neither of which were found on the standard model. The weight capacity of the Mobie plus has also increased considerably over that of the standard model, now being 21 stones.
The Mobie Plus is very simple to fold and to use. From its compact folded position to ready to use in just 5 seconds!!! It is so compact in size, you can even fit two in the back of a Smart car!
However, don't let the size of the Mobie Plus fool you into thinking it is not robust! Capable of carrying a user up to 21 stone over a maximum range of 9 miles, the Mobie Plus stands up to much larger transportable scooters. It also has a clever flexible chassis, that ensures all four wheels stay safely on the ground.
If 9 miles is not far enough for you, then an extra battery can be carried in the floor pan, extending the range up to a maximum of 18 miles between charges. The battery can be charged on the scooter, or an optional charging dock is available so you can just take the battery indoors and charge it at your convenience. The lightweight, lithium-ion batteries are also certified safe for air travel making the Mobie Plus the ideal travel companion.
The tiller adjusts fully for both reach and height, utilising a new hydraulic system not found on the standard model. The new, larger delta style tiller bar is extremely comfortable, and is sympathetic to those with grip problems or arthritis symptoms in the hands, allowing you to use fingers or thumbs to control the speed. Once the Mobie Plus is folded the tiller is a useful handle by which you can pull it along behind you like a suitcase.

All of our major products are available with an "Accompanied Delivery". This means that your new mobility product will be delivered to your door and assembled. The delivery person will go through the operations of the mobility product and show you how to use it, store it and even to charge it when required. Our staff will ensure that you are entirely comfortable with your mobility product before they leave and they will even take the packaging away with them! The cost for this service is £95.00 (This service is only available to Mainland UK addresses)
If you are happy with your choice of mobility product and don't feel that you need someone to go through it all with you, you can opt for a "standard delivery". With the standard delivery option, included in the price you will still have the mobility product delivered to your door but it will be sent by one of our professional carriers. You will need to be able to un-box the product yourself and dispose of the packaging. Don't forget, we are always available on the telephone to help if you get stuck!

We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect you in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
